The Sanctuary Boat Show has just ended and the crew from Bay Sports Australia received a great response and more than happy with the visitor feedback and received sales.

For this show, it was decided to exhibit on the water where the Aquaglide Rebound 12 Aquapark, 20 Foot Runway, Airport and several towables were on display.

The show ran for 4 days where we only received rain on the Friday, however this did not deter the visitors. Saturday was the show stopper where the most visitors were experienced and where the weather was at its best.

We would like to thank all of the visitors who saw us at the show, those who liked our products and of course those who purchased our products.

We also had the opportunity to help the Southport Volunteer Marine Rescue Team at the show where they gave out our Bay Sports Branded inflatable hammers and beach balls when visitors purchased their raffle tickets. All of the kids, parents and grand parents enjoyed the hammers and beach balls and we enjoyed seeing the BSA brand being spread throughout the show. A great result for all.

Bay Sports Australia will be exhitibiting at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove Boat Show which is being held between the 20-23 May 2010 at Sanctuary Cove, Queensland. The show is open 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.

For this show, we have decided to exhibit from Marina E which is directly on the water. We have some of the Aquaglide Platinum products in the water so that our potential customers can see them first hand.

We will also be showing some of our other products that include BoatBuckle, Salt-Away, Perfect Pass, Headzone, Butt Buoy, Pro-Tec, AVIVA, the Cleat Seat and Safe-T-Cleat.

The crew here at Bay Sports Australia are very pleased with the response that we experienced at the Sydney Boat show where we officially launched Aquaglide with the 2009-2010 product range including the platinum series.

A large crowd was experienced each day where we were greeted with many smiling faces after watching the Aquaglide video footage and seeing the Rebound 12 Aquapark on display.

We were honoured that the General Manager from Aquaglide, David Johnston could join us for the show and share his passion and knowledge of the Aquaglide product range.

In addition to the Aquaglide Range, we had on display products from the following brands;

• Fishing Buddy
• Headzone Helmets 
• Pro-Tec Helmets  

We received a great response in relation to the sale of products from the Salt-Away range.

We also had fun with the sale and give away of our inflatable BSA promotional products which included a beach ball and hammer. The kids were kept amused.

Another successful year for Bay Sports Australia at the Sydney International Boat Show and we can not wait until next year to arrive where we will have new and exciting products for you to experience.

Bay Sports Australia are proud to be supporters of the SLSC movement in Australia where the Lanai and Slide are helping their young members to become more confident in the water and to enjoy their Sunday Nipper day.

Two of our products, the Lanai and Slide are perfect for the use by the SLSC’s. The lanai and slide can be towed with the use of a jet ski or IRB. The units can be anchored off from one or more points on the Lanai at its designated position in the water and can be used as a marker / reaching point for both the swim or board paddle events.

The Lanai can also be used as a resting point for tired nippers which will assist with the water safety personnel. The lanai is perfect for young nippers who may struggle when they reach the marker buoy either need a rest or are unable to proceed. They can climb onto the lanai and feel safe.

Copacabana, Terrigal and McMasters Beach SLSC’s have recently experienced the success of the Lanai and water slide where all nippers have called it “Fully Sick”. They have also experienced an overwhelming increase of participation in swimming with age groups as young at under 8’s – 11’s.

Bay Sports Australia are proud to be associated with a new hire business which is located at the Terrigal Lagoon, Terrigal NSW.

Terrigal Water Sports is owned and operated by Mark Chandler of ESS Boardstore.

The facility will have on hire the Aquaglide Multisports LE, 3.1, & 4.1. This will give customers a great chance to use the Multisports and see how well they go.

Terrigal Water Sports will be retailing new Multisports onsite.

There are operating 7 days throughout the 2007-2008 Schol holidays and on weekends commencing from February 2008.

They are located at the Terrigal Lagoon Reserve, Corner Terrigal Drive and Willoughby Road, Terrigal NSW.

Sales were received from all types of marine enthusiasts including the active water sports, sailing, luxury, sailing schools, charter organisations, resorts and the alike.

We had buyers from all States of Australia, Asia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
